DENSO welcomes Svajone Diestro as Strategic Marketing Manager
DENSO is pleased to announce that Svajone Diestro has joined the company’s Marketing team as Strategic Marketing Manager as of November 14th, 2016.
Svajone has a wealth of experience in the automotive industry, working for Volvo Group across a variety of roles in her 17 years there. Her most recent role over the last five years was as Director of Brand Development at Volvo Trucks North America, where she developed and orchestrated activities to increase sales, market shares and revenue, and promote the brand image for Volvo Trucks.
Svajone has significant experience of the European Automotive Industry, working as Marketing Communications Manager for Volvo Trucks Europe’s Central Eastern Region (Baltic’s, Poland, Czech Rep. and Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia), before her move to the United States of America .
In her new role, Svajone will be responsible for formulating DENSO AMIS’ marketing strategy to develop strong brand awareness, consistent product positioning and growth opportunities through effective marketing channels.
Coordinating the MarCom team, Svajone will also work closely with AM Products, AM Sales and Business Development teams, Corporate Communications (DNEU and DNJP), agencies and suppliers.
